Cartas al escritor

This is a poem inspired in the story "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. It was created with the platform "Storybird".  Para utilizarlo en clase, se toma de base las rimas del poema (no lo que seria "el estribillo") y se alienta los alumnxs a hablar y describir a sus propias criaturas salvajes, construyendo su propio poema alrededor de las lineas "Beware! The wild Things are coming!". El objetivo de esta propuesta pedagógica es la apropiación del idioma en un nivel creativo, alentando a los chicxs a crear sus propios personajes, darles vida/características y que utilizan el vocabulario aprendido en clase (y que también aparece en el cuento de Marice Sendak). Tendrían que crear 8 lineas en lo posible.  Al ser un poema, este puede tener las lineas que el autor desee incluir.  Vocabulario: en mi versión del poema yo mencione los verbos to hide, to be, to come y  to devour - todos son utilizados usualmente cuando uno describe "mons

Hope you like it!  Esta aplicación se puede utilizar para darle contexto a la lectura del libro y para alentar a los alumnos a investigar sobre el autor, la película, etc, y ayudarlos a recordar los sucesos de la historia.
